Another Gear Down in Water
https://www.dailytrib.com/2022/03/17...ries-reported/
“A gentleman from the Shirley Williams Airport in Kingsland, where he keeps his plane, was landing on Lake LBJ,” Granite Shoals Fire Chief Tim Campbell told DailyTrib.com. “It’s the kind of plane that lands on both water and land, and he forgot to retract the landing gear for a water landing.”

This is the 6th gear down in water that I know of, 18th gear in the wrong position landing (Gear down in water, Gear up on Land), all gear downs in water range from minor damage to Total Loss. The fantastic news is none have been more than a minor injury most there are no injuries. Do you and all your fellow A5 owners a favor check that gear like crazy on every landing!! Please review this video as refresher on way to avoid this type of accident happening to you:
