Ever since I did the ad on the fuel pump I am experiencing a very loud whine . Wondering if anyone else is hearing this sound?

I have the same issue on my new production Icon. Noticeable on taxi but not really inflight. Maybe some noise suppression can be added.

I never liked the how loud the new production Rotax fuel pumps are. The ICON test pilots were the first to note it and the company told Rotax about how noisy they were. Rotax said this was "normal", I don't and never have agree'd with that conclusion, but I doubt they will ever do anything about it, especially with the trouble they have had producing a good fuel pumps a while back, thus all the Safety Directives/Alerts from Rotax to replace certain pumps. Keep an eye out for those fuel pressure lights and always do your fuel pump checks prior to takeoff checking both and make sure you wait atleast 6 seconds on the lane checks so you won't miss a poorly performing fuel pump. Basically follow the checklist.
