Interesting, glad to see more aviation expertise in the SGG group.
I noticed that ICON is now listed on their brands page and reference on the homepage:

In 2024, the company seized the strategic opportunity of promoting the development of the "low altitude economy" by acquiring relevant effective assets of ICON, a small aircraft manufacturer in the United States. By utilizing the company's connection process technology, the company will extend its business from providing process equipment for carbon fiber composite structural components to the production and manufacturing of carbon fiber lightweight sports aircraft.

Next new owner
I am assuming that means US operations (Vacaville) will close?
I wonder how they will handle sales and support in the US where 95% of their current owners reside? -

I encourage all of us to read or re-read James Fallows book, China Airborne, to gain a perspective on the threat to U.S. leadership in aerospace systems industries. Just google 'China Airborne." If any of your business, political, or patriotic interests are aroused by these incursions into the western world's leadership in aviation and aerospace are alerted to these "simplistic" advancements by the Chinese, I encourge you to consider communicating with your elected officials on the danger, With apologies for the political diversion, Bruce

Andrew, great question. If you happen to see my response in another message about the strategic intentions of the Chinese in the ambitions for global leadership in Aerospace/aeronautics/aiviation, please take a look. My recommendation was for all of us to take a read/re-read of James Fallows tome, China Airborne.
