Having a nuisance issue of a small amount of oil leaking out around the L rear of the engine cowling. Not enough to even notice a drop in oil quantity. Oil seems burnt (not oily feeling) but can't locate the source. Thought it was the valve cover at first and now, after cleaning it all up and rerunning the engine, it seems to be centered about the exhaust connection to the cylinder. No oil on spark plug and compression check was good just a few weeks ago.

My mech will look at in in a few days but just wondering if anybody else has had a similar issue.

Not looking for another A&P - just for experience with this issue.
