Another ICON Newbie question, now on tools
What are tools I should be looking to have on hand either in hanger for owner allowed maintenance, or carry in a small tool kit on plane?

I have a multi-tool in the plane (Titanium Leatherman). In the hangar, I have Full metric and SAE tool set plus Torx screwdrivers. Battery powered air pump, Anti-freeze, Solar-Powered Battery for go-pros. 12mm exhaust nuts, Brake Pads, Safety wire, Battery Tender, Hull Cleaners, Isopropyl Alcohol, 16 Gallon Mobile Fuel Tank with Nozzle, 5Gal Fuel Tank with bottom pivot hose (perfect for Icon). Case of Rotax oil, Filters, Tail Anchoring Kit, Canopy and Engine Cover, Spare anti-slip tape, TONS of AA Batteries.

If you trailer the plane or leave it with the wings folded unattended, the kit secures the wings to the tail so the wings cannot accidentally drop (10 to 15K repair).

On my anchoring tail kit I have always been concerned that the rods going from the wing tip to the tail boom would get bent while being stored - especially if I take them cross country with me. I ordered a carbon fiber tube with screw top lid off of Ebay for storage. It is designed to hold fishing rods and works perfectly - also very light weight if you travel with it.
