I understand there are a few insurers offering more reasonable insurance for Icon A5 owners. Can anyone tell me who they are? Any idea how they handle older pilots (say 80+)?

There are currently 4 underwriters quoting Icon A5 aircraft in the United States. 2 of the underwriters have a max pilot age of 70 years old for new business. The other two underwriters are more flexible. Some considerations will be: where you are located, how much time you have in the make and model or similar type, and class of medical certificate.
