Hello All,

I fly SN00024. It was delivered in January 2018. It is a Founders Edition (03 of 100) and came with the oval can exhaust system that was prone to cracking.


I finally bit the bullet and replaced it. Jimmy did a great job with the replacement. The new system is completely different and requires 4 new Carbon Fiber parts to mount all the hardware.

The best news after 3 hours of flying with the new exhaust is the improvement in noise and general “tone” of the exhaust. Even though 11K is a huge amount, I am glad I did it.

That’s great to hear. We have 00023 and had some warranty work done on the exhaust in ‘18 but I assume they put the old system back in. Sounds like something to sign up for!

for me the lowered pitch alone is worth the change.

I understand the old ovals are not available as new parts anymore. My original oval exhaust failed after about 30 total hours of flight.
