The way he tied up the stick isn't the most effective and can still slip quite a bit. I went through an effort 4 years ago to explicitly show the correct way to do this in this notification https://www.iconaircraft.com/wp-cont...9/N-042619.pdf. Also take note on the use of flaps in high wind (specifically tail winds) to avoid them banging against the stops which was not mentioned in this video.
