Hello, my Garmin GDL52 has a dead battery. I cannot seem to find a place to get the battery replaced. Has anyone made that happen?

I haven’t had it done but my 4 year old GDL52 battery only holds only a minimal charge so I have also explored replacing the battery. It appears Garmin will “repair” any out-of-warranty on a GDL52 unit which I assume would include a new battery for $420. See link below.
