    Spotless Water Wash

As you know it is essential to rinse the Icon after Salt Water operations. It is also nice to keep the plane clean in general. Unfortunately, the water at my hangar has lots of minerals and leaves water spots if not dried quickly. It takes too much effort to dry the whole plane...

So I bought a filter from Spotless Water Systems that produce mineral-free, de-ionized water on-demand. It works great, the filter removes all the minerals so there is nothing left to spot when pure water evaporates. You should be able to get about 300 gallons (or 120 minutes of continuous wash) time out of it. It even has a built-in PPM meter so you know when to replace the resin.

Indeed! Usually spots will show up on the red and black parts (luckily hard to see on the white). No spots today after letting the plane dry last night.

Last picture may look like spots but just ground reflected.
