Electronic Attitude Indicator Manual
While researching the Voltage Indicator in another post, I came across a reference in the POH to Publication 1404 for the KMC 2000-2 digital attitude indicator. I didn't find it the manufacturers website, so they emailed it to me.
Don't recall if I ever saw this manual before? Not that it is a complicated instrument!St Petersburg, FL - N1BA #140 Icon G3x & N329MC Phenom 300 -

That’s interesting they gave it to you very cool it was always an internal document as the instrument was customized by ICON (added the logo, added compass, flipped the unit over so the buttons are on the bottom). Kelly MFG has never to my knowledge produced an AI and magnetometer for anyone else.

Great find… the POH references it and no amount of web searches or searches on the manufacturer’s website yielded results.

Does Anyone think (for those of us with 796’s) that KMC would sell us a software update to get engine data on a new screen view?

This is not a straight forward or simple project unless you know how to code in ardunio, know the CAN interface wiring (HIC connector A and B) also understand how a CAN bus works in general with Nodes and terminations and most importantly have the interface document from Rotax that is the message decoder ring for the all the CAN messages you might be interested in viewing. Finally you have to dig in to the wiring harness and splice off the CAN bus lines to feed it data. Sorry to be Debby downer here but CAN is powerful but you really need to know what you're doing.
This project was for a straight 912 not the iS. The CAN bus he was using was just from the EMS reading all the sensors not from the Rotax ECU CAN output.
